RX has confirmed that the 2026 edition of Arabian Travel Market [ATM] will be rescheduled from its originally planned dates of 4–7 May 2026 to 17–20 August 2026. The event will continue to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with the venue remaining unchanged.

The decision to shift the dates comes against the backdrop of ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which is expected to have significant and far-reaching implications for the wider Gulf region. Organisers said the move was necessary to prioritise the safety and well-being of customers, partners and colleagues, while also giving the global travel and tourism community greater confidence and flexibility to attend.

Now in its 33rd edition, Arabian Travel Market serves as a key global platform connecting destinations, travel suppliers, hospitality brands, airlines, technology providers and industry professionals from across the travel ecosystem.

In an official statement, the organising committee cited the evolving regional situation as a key factor behind the rescheduling, noting that the conflict could disrupt travel, logistics and international participation. The revised timeline is intended to provide greater stability and allow stakeholders sufficient time to adjust to changing conditions.

Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market, said: “Arabian Travel Market has long served as a vital platform for bringing the global travel and tourism community together in Dubai, enabling destinations, suppliers and industry leaders to connect, collaborate and shape the future of the sector.

“The safety and well-being of our customers, partners and colleagues remains our highest priority, and the decision to reschedule ATM 2026 to August reflects our commitment to ensuring that everyone can participate at this important industry gathering. We look forward to welcoming the international travel community back to Dubai later this year.”

Organisers also reaffirmed their confidence in Dubai’s capacity to host large-scale events and expressed optimism that the new dates will enable stronger participation across the global travel and tourism industry.

The RX team remains committed to supporting all participants and will work closely with exhibitors, partners and stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition to the new dates. Industry players, exhibitors and attendees have been advised to revise their plans accordingly, with further updates on programming and logistics expected in the coming weeks.

Widely recognised as a cornerstone event in the global tourism calendar, Arabian Travel Market continues to provide a critical platform for networking, business development and insights into emerging travel trends. Despite current regional uncertainties, organisers remain focused on delivering a successful and impactful event under the revised schedule.
